Introduction of Dr Sudha Kumari: M.A.(Economics) with First class second position from Patna University in 1985 with Junior Research Fellowship of University Grants Commission of India in 1985. Awarded doctorate in economics from Patna University in 2002 on “Rate of growth of Bihar economy : during the Plan period”.

Her research paper on “Women labour in unorganized sector of India” was presented in All India Conference of Labour Economics in 1989 at Patna and was published in YOJNA -the economic journal in 1989. Many economic, social, legal and literary articles written by her have been published by national, local and departmental journals and newspapers.

Joined as an officer of Indian Revenue Service,1989 batch and has received Executive training at IIM, Ahmadabad and IMF sponsored training on Tax Administration and Diagnostic Assessment Tool. She is also a member of Committee on Prosecution Guidelines constituted by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, New Delhi

A recepient of gold medal from National Police Academy, Hyderabad, Best Cartoonist award from National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur, Rajbhasha Shield and Rajbhasha Prize by the Department for excellent work in Hindi.

She has also participated in UGC sponsored seminars at Magadh Mahila College (P.U.) and Gardanibagh Women’s College, Patna during her posting at Patna.

Her published works are ‘The Tide’-English poetry; ‘Desh Raag’-Hindi poetry; ‘Parishkrit aur Sukhee Vataavaran’- Hindi trilogy of articles-satires-stories, ‘Happy World of Paintings’and ‘Happy World of Paintings-vol.II’

Her solo art exhibitions were held at Gallery Artists’ Guild and State Art Gallery at Guwahati in 2017. Music CD on her song ‘Rajasva Geet’ was released by I.T. Dept. in 2017.
